Born in Dublin, Ireland on June 7th 1889, Frank Duff was the eldest of seven children. In response to pressing social issues of his time, Frank along with 15 lay Catholics became the nucleus of what is today known the world over, as the Legion of Mary. Truly and well ahead of his time, Frank loved to read, write and bicycle in the Irish countryside. His writings are based on Mary's pivotal role within the Catholic Church, her immense love for God and her outpouring of grace for the salvation of souls.
